Great Harbour Cay, the Berry Islands, Bahamas

Our first view of the Bahamas was the sun rise over the Great Bahama Bank as we left Miami in the afternoon crossed the gulf stream and passed by Bimini in the dark arriving at Bullocks Harbour before noon.

Raccoon Cay, Ragged Islands, Bahamas

Raccoon Cay is located between Hog Cay to the south and Buena Vista Cay to the northin the Ragged Islands and has a beautiful sandy beach along the anchorage. There are old ruins up on the beach and coral heads that make for good fishing. Bell Island and Cambridge Cay are in the Exuma Land and Sea Park and are ideal spots to ride out the west winds of a cold front as you can get between the islands.
