Thompson Bay is a huge anchorage and a favorite cruiser spot on Long Island. The settlements of Thompson Bay and Salt Pond have a grocery store, gas station, marine store, liquor store, salon, churches, restaurants, car rental and more. The cultural and regatta site is hosting the Mutton Festival.
