Thompson Bay, Long Island, Bahamas

Thompson Bay is a huge anchorage and a favorite cruiser spot on Long Island. The settlements of Thompson Bay and Salt Pond have a grocery store, gas station, marine store, liquor store, salon, churches,  restaurants, car rental and more. The cultural and regatta site is hosting the Mutton Festival.

Black Point Settlement on Great Guana Cay attracts cruisers for its selection of restaurants, water view laundromat and free water and garbage disposal. The locals are friendly and welcoming and there's a huge sandbar at low tide and great hiking along the sound side beach all the way to the cut. Little Farmer's Cay, Exumas, Bahamas

Little Farmer's Cay offers a great all around protection anchorage. Farmer's Cay Marina has mooring balls and the small settlement has an airstrip and a small grocery store and two restaurants. The supply boat Captain C comes in the cut and a smaller boat comes alongside to unload while they turn around and then leave the same way they came in.
