Glass Window, Eleuthera, Bahamas

The Glass Window is the narrowest point of the Eleuthera island where there is a narrow ledge with a bridge above it creating a window where you can see from the Exuma Sound into the Atlantic Ocean. It's quite an engineering feat and the bridge was washed out in a storm and had to be rebuilt. Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, Bahamas

Palmetto Bay and Pineapple Cays are north of Ten Bay and has a pretty park on the sound side beach. The settlements of North and South Palmetto Point are prosperous with 3 grocery stores, at least 4 churches, primary and high schools and numerous businesses and resorts on Atlantic Ocean side beach. The Island Farm is known for their fresh produce. Bell Island, Exumas, Bahamas

Bell Island and Cambridge Cay are in the Exuma Land and Sea Park and offer protected anchorages from the west wind when a cold front approaches. Bell Island is a private island and Cambridge Cay has mooring balls off the sandy beach. The coral gardens are great for snorkeling. Black Point Settlement, Great Guana Cay, Exumas, Bahamas

Black Point Settlement on Great Guana Cay attracts cruisers for its selection of restaurants, water view laundromat and free water and garbage disposal. The locals are friendly and welcoming and there's a huge sandbar at low tide and great hiking along the sound side beach all the way to the cut.
