The settlement of Rock Sound on Rock Sound Harbour has a huge all around protection anchorage that attracts boats when a cold front is coming. Rock Sound is cruiser friendly with two dinghy docks, two grocery stores, gas stations, laundromat, restaurants, stores and more along with friendly folks. A great anchorage near Poison Point during south wind at the entrance to Rock Sound Harbour. Tom's Rocks is around point from Governor's Harbour and has a jetty and old dock along a small beach and close to road across the island to the Atlantic Ocean. As the winds turned southeast we motorsailed back to Alabaster Bay. The bay is surrounded by white sandy beaches and the home to Cocodamama Resort, colorful pastel cottages on the shore.
